I am married and with a breastfeeding child. I haven't used any contraceptive pills before. I wish to know about contraceptive pills, their side effects on long term usage , if any. Can I start with a pill and discontinue for sometime later? Which are safest and have least/no side effects and BF friendly?

Yes you can definitely start contraception pills if you want to have spacing between two pregnancies... there are lots of pills available which you can safely take during breastfeeding
