Consultation regarding submucas fibrosis
Hii..I want consult regarding osmf... My dental sergeon clinically diagnosed osmf due to patches in my mouth ..few days back .. For confirming this...I was go through biopsy My biopsy report was... "Aconthotic squamous epithelium with reactive changes...no dysplasia seen" Can I still suffering from osmf or any other conditions? Please suggest what can I do

Good afternoon just don't panic. Osmf is a completely treatable condition. Your biopsy shows no dysplasia...so you are out of danger zone...there is no emergency Proper case history regarding your habits and teeth condition is must for exact diagnosis of your problem

Hello dear Please be calm I suggest you to please share share the biopsy details because there is no term like aconthotic but squamous epithelium do exists.so i request you to please share biopsy reports so that I can confirm the diagnosis.for further details you can consult me Thanks
