Constipation and rectal bleeding

Hi I recently traveled from abroad to India 2 days ago. I have been constipated and had to strain during bowel movement a day ago. However, today I felt like having a bowel movement but had to strain a lot. In the end there was very hard stools, mucus and blood. What do I do next? I have a history of hemorrhoids and anal fissure. Thank you

Hi if this bleed is not associated with pain than is generally due to piles and quantity of blood should be more. If this is associated with pain and quantity is less than this is due to fissure. At times there may be sigmoid colitis which leads to cramping lower abdominal pain and may cause passage of blood in stool.
