My father havebeen having tongue burning from the last six months. .He took medicines from doctor's but didn't cured yet..He quit smoking one year before..Is it a symptom of cancer

Usually should not be.Seek an opinion from ENT specialist.he might have just benign ulcers or premalignant lesion..Rarely it may be a symptom of cancer..If you have a clear pic of his oral cavity..It would be better to comment
