Constant bleeding after removing sutures

Asked for Female, 61 Years

My mother is on warfarin, she has a mechanical mitral valve and had 4 strokes in the past two years...recently she had a minor thumb cut injury and she had it sutured through surgery to stop the bleeding. Now after we have removed the stitches she keeps bleeding.Her doctor recommended using iodosorb powder but its not working.
