Usually for a Nevus, no surgery is required as it is very much like a birth mark on the conjunctiva/ sclera. If patient wants to commit to surgical treatment for cosmetic purposes then various options such as superficial sclerectomy or superficial lamellar grafts +|- conjunctival autografts are possible
Conjunctivoplasty refers to a completely different procedure where excess tissue is resected or removed in cases of conjunctivochalasis, or medial conjunctivoplasty done for ectropions etc.
