Conjuctivitis
Mine conjuctivitis has been cured fully i n 7 days with antibiotic drops . Can it be herpes? My wife has cold sores . So I am worried. My eye specialist must not have noticed it so he had given me antibiotic drops. It was only in left eye with gritting and light sensitivity

Herpes virus can cause infection but if its serious then patient will develop blurring of vision or distortion of light rays. It is difficult to miss on examination. From the information provided above it is most probably non herpetic infection.
Next Steps
But if blurring of vision or photophobia( difficulty in seeing light) persists then you must consult your nearest Ophthamologist.

See the herpetic ulcer is extensive painful, watering and extensive redness as you already had physical consultation, every ophthalmologist checked cornea with stain, so only after the checkup he had excluded the herpetic ulcer, as you got completely recovered, its very less chances that you are having any herpetic ulcer. Soo it might be simple conjunctivitis only
Next Steps
Kindly visit if you are experiencing diminishing of vision
