Congenital hypothyroidism
Hello Doctor I gave Birth on 19th june 2024. After 72hrs newborn screening test my daughter detect Eptopic thyroid glad. 6days of her age means 24th june we transfer to pediatric endocrinologist.. After examination she immediately started thyroid replacement medicine.. Regularly she took Thyroid medicine so my question is in future any chance to  mentality or physically disability  she face? Or she grow up with normally? I am very tensed..

She will have normal life but make sure she is taken to doctor regurly for checkups when ever necessary as prescribed by ur doctor
