I have a 5 months old baby. Dr has prescribed colic acid drops for relieving gas. How often should it be given to the child? Can she can be given daily?

Burp the baby well in between n after feeds. Promote exclusive mother feeds. Give feeds at regular intervals 2-3 hours. You wont need any colic drops. But just in case u need to use it. Dont use daily. It must be used SOS.

Colicky pain usually subsides by 6 months of age, no need for any medication as it is a harmless condition.gently burping the baby after each feeds, carrying the baby over the shoulder, keeping both the bent knees over the abdomen usually soothes the baby.If the stools are normal in colour and consistency without any mucus, no need to worry
