Can I give colicade to my newborn of 15 days ? He is passing tight stool. Earlier he used to poop 4-5 times daily. Now suddenly he is passing poop once in 2 days and he is having tight poop since last two times. It becomes very painful for him to pass the stool. He cries alot. I am worried that if I will give him colicade regularly then he will get used to it and it will effect his digestion in future.

Colicaid is for colicky pain
Just give baby adequate feeding
Mother’s water intake also increased
If no abdominal distension, vomiting then no worries
If problem persists for more than 7 days, for physical evaluation and thyroid analysis
