Greetings It is likely that the gas and crying are related to digestive discomfort from the new food. This is usually harmless and common as babies' digestive systems mature. The baby is eating, playing, and has no other alarming symptoms, which are positive signs. Continue to monitor her closely and avoid carrots for a little while if they seem to be the cause.

As long as baby is feeding well, interacting well, active don’t worry. Such digestive issues are common.
