  4. Cold and cough in 3month baby. Be given?

Cold and cough in 3month baby
My baby has cold and cough since 25days. His chest xray is clear. Paediac has suggested to use laveta m syrup 2ml thrice a day. Is this dose appropriate and safe. If else what is the exact dose to be given?
