CMV positive index lebel 89
Hi Doctor,
I tested for CMV igg and tested positive.
In India are most of individuals positive?
My index value was 89 and bio reference level was 12. Do i need to worry or get treatment assuming my CMV Igm is negative?
Can i have normal relation with wife being cmv igg positive and cmv igm negative., i.e. will it be infectious?
I do not know CMV status of my wife.
Kindly guide.

Igg is suggestive of old infection. A person with igg positive but igm negative is not infectious.
