CMV avidity test shows high avidity
Hello doc,
I have done Torch test last month where my CmV igg was : Reactive (>250.0) and Cmv IGM was positive( 4.05)
Doc suggested CMV avidity test and I did it.
Result is - High Avidity (94.7)
Note- I am not pregnant but i have had 2 missed abortions in last 1 and half year.
I am thinking for pregnancy now.
Should this high avidity range will affect my pregnancy again.

Positive igg indicates immunity which is a good sign
Positive igm indicates current Infection which needs treatment before next conception
