Clarification on test reports
I recently did my test due to continuation of fever. I performed widal test STO IS NEGATIVE, STH IS NEGATIVE, PAH IS NEGATIVE AND PBH IS NEGATIVE.
bUT IN INTEPRETATION: Agglutination titre grater than 1:80 is suggestive of infection. Pls tell me what it means.

You have been evaluated for salmonella species infection. Widal test should be interpreted with care, as this test is neither sensitive or specific for typhoid infection. Rising titres can provide more strength to the test. Go for blood culture sensitivity test.
