Cirrhotic hepatitis c
Sir this is the result of my mom's LFT S bilirubin total- 1.88 mg/l Bilirubin direct - 0.9 mg/l Bilirubin indirect - 0.98 mg/dl SGOT- 136 IU/L SGPT- 93 IU/L Serum alkaline phosphatase- 414 IU/L Sir my mom had ascites in February 2019 and for that she was given dytor plus 10 and her abdomen was normal. Now she is on lasilactone 50, SAMe 400,and cardivas 3.125. She has been tested positive for HCV and report of quantitative viral rna is awaited so treatment of hep c has not been started yet. Sir can we hope for improvement in her liver after successful treatment of hep c. If not, after how much time she will need liver transplant? ( She had blood transfusion in 1999) Thanks and regards
