Chronic itching since November 2022
I had chronic itching since November 2022, diagnosed with hba1c of 8.9 in March 2023 - type 2 diabetes. Consulted dermatologist all tests came negative .Currently on diet, excercise, medication and metformin. Hba1c came down to 7 last month.  Itching mostly on lower legs, thighs and lower arms - 99% times at night Itching happens even if blood sugar is completely in range - i shower twice a day and post care of moisturizer taken care of Thyroid in range No ketones found Complete blood picture - platelets, RBC, WBC high (i was told this isn't an issue) Vitamins deficiency exists Kidney and liver tests in range Cholesterol in range Only issue was diabetes, weight management Please don't suggest consultation without ruling out the above.
