Chronic cough

Asked for Male, 3 Years

My daughter who is 2 and half year old has been coughing for almost 3 weeks now. The cough is not all over day. It is mostly in morning about 10 times and very few times in day. She was checks by 2 doctors and her chest has been clear however one of the doctors has diagnosed her with some allergy through food which we are not sure inspite of keep a vigil eye on her diet. The cough is not dry and with some mucus sometimes. The problem is now she has finished 2 bottles of cough syrup and i dont intend to give more syrup as it is yeilding no result.

Probably Hyperreactive airway disease.....is there any weight loss over months?? Any family members having prolonged cough?? ......May go for coscopin pedia n nukast- 4 syrup for few days n see response...if no response..go for blood test n chest xray
