Cholestatis in pregnancy
I have severe itching all over the body with serum sgot 142 sgpt 265 alp 214 and bile acid is 3.67. Currently 38 weeks pregnant with gestational diabetes too. I am taking utiliv 300 3x a day since 2 days as it got detected at 37 weeks. Should I wait for normal delivery or take decision to have c sec delivery at 38-39 weeks. Itching is very severe and it's not reducing at all

As your itching is not improving and as you have gestational diabetes Better go for elective c section instead of waiting for normal delivery to prevent risk to you and your baby Better do consult the obstetrician and need to see you in person and can take good decision for you and your baby
