Dapagliflozin (an SGLT2 inhibitor) can cause mild blood pressure lowering due to its diuretic effect (it causes you to lose extra water and sodium in urine). A BP of 95/65 may be acceptable if you're not feeling weak, dizzy, or lightheaded. But if you are experiencing symptoms like: Dizziness Fainting Fatigue Blurred vision then you should consult your doctor — they may need to adjust the dose or check your hydration and kidney function.

Very Good decision to change glimeperide to dapagliflozin. #Diabetic patient live with high blood sugar but die due to clots in heart and brain. Dapagliflozin or all other SGLT-2i has significant role in reducing cardiovascular risk and also protect kidney, As far as Drop in blood pressure is concere, it never decrease more >5-6mmHg from base line. Bp reading of 95/65 is ok if you does not have dizziness, and prostutal hypotension
Next Steps
Take dapagliflozin with 500ml of water, some times it cause dehydration specialy at high bloos sugar level >250 mg random
Health Tips
Continue dopa - keep monitoring BP ( specialy look for postural hypotension) for further treatment of diabetes book consultation of www.docmd.in

Can u pls let me know ur HBA1C ? Fasting sugars ? What about any symptoms or illness related to heart and kidneys ? I means can u pls let me know ur lipid profile and kidney function tests ? Dapagliflozin replaced with glimipiride because it is more cardioprotective and renoprotective . Moreover your BP is not too low . But if u feel weak u can take ORS tetra packs once a day.
Next Steps
Take vitamin B12 tablets( Neurobion forte ) along with these medications as you might get neuropathy 1.) because of diabetes itself 2.) because of the side effects of metformin ….
Health Tips
Take fluids Take non processed food , low on carbs , No sugar , no butter mayonnaise.. start exercising 150 min / week Stop smoking ( if u do ) Stop stress .

First of BP u have mentioned is 95/65 which technically not possible so I guess u have measured with digital meter .. I suggest u to once check with manually in near doctor clinic .. To answer ur query , yes dapagliflozine can reduce BP .. now if ur normal diabetic pt without any heart failure case then it is not a normal bp.. u should change ur medications.. nd if does it’s normal ..
Next Steps
Change the medication and find out the root cause of hypotension
Health Tips
drink plenty of fluids orally …
