Chipped Composite veneer
My upper lateral incisor had root canal treatment about 10 years ago. It was built with tooth like material instead putting a crown. This material chipped off 4 months ago and I got it rebuilt with composite material. Within 2 months, a tiny part of this composite veneer chipped off again due to a trauma to the tooth. Now I am expending mild pain in that tooth. I have moved abroad and I'm planning to see the dentist on my next visit to India. Is this tooth in danger? How long can I wait ?

Pain is due to trauma that happened 2 months back.. It might subside with time..if not, then a re-root canal treatment might be required.. Also the tooth needs to be restored with a crown..for its longevity..after analysing and treating the same for the pain. Meanwhile you can undergo a course of antibiotics and anti inflammatory med for 5 days.
