Child wake-up in middle of Night and cry

Asked for Female, 1 Years

Hi My Daughter is 16months old from last 3 days she wake-up in the mid night @ 2AM and start crying loudly and rolling on the bed. And gets Clam after 20mins not sure what's happening to her. Any suggestions am really upset to see her crying in the mid night.

Most probably night terrors,though it usually occurs at older age. Make sure the bedroom and clothing is comfortable. Just hold her gently,she'll calm down on her own. Do NOT try to wake her up,just keep in mind she's asleep all the time.
