Child tooth pain and gum swelling
8 year old child got tooth pain and swelling gum dentist gave her amoxicillin and metrogel but my child have augmentine allergy last year  ..can i give her taxim 0 100mg tablet will this heal gum abscess and swelling .please advice

No if she has allergy to amoxicillin , than you cant give her taxim o becoz they are the medicine of same group Ask your doctor to change the medicine

The allergy needs to be verified if its only augmentin allergy or allergy to sulfa drugs because in that case taxim may cause reaction.
