Child reaching puberty
As my friend daughter ...her age is 6...she had a yellow discharge with foul smelling for the past 3 days...when we consulted to the nearby doctor they said that she'll reach her adolescent very quickly within a couple of months...is there any other way to prevent from being reaching the adolescent? Becoz she's too young...what kind of diagnosis is this? is this preventable?

Vaginal discharge doesn't indicate attaining puberty. It might mean infection which needs to be treated.

Yellow discharge could be a sign of infection. Please get that treated, examine for foreign body. Menarche cannot be delayed or advanced. Don't worry too much about it

This discharge is not necessarily a sign of attaining menarche The age of menarche nowadays is as early as 8 years There is nothing can be done to delay that
