  4. Child behavior. Stay calm for some time.

We have a daughter of 14 months old..  Whenever we take her to outside new place or new people.. she gets annoyed, she will cry continuously... we r facing this problem frequently... even to neighbors she is not mingling... even if i go to my neighbors house, she will cry.. if i show her rhymes in  my mobile she will stay calm for some time... afterwards she will cry again... please help us to cope up  with the problem...

Hi thanks for writing to Practo consult. Child has stranger anxiety at this age (from 9months onwards). He/she might be needing more attention. Please do jot use mobile,TV or  iPad to  sooth baby. Let the relation be more mother and child , play with baby, spend quality time with baby. Are babies growth parameters normal, what is her weight length and head circumference ( if you have chart please do share.) Beta urine RM and CS test done.

I don't see as any significant problem. Some babies carry this stranger anxiety for some time. Just give her some time she will be alright.
