Hello doctor,
I am a first time mother and my baby boy is 6 weeks old. He is 3.3kgs and feeds on formula 95%. he exerts too much pressure while sleeping/awake. He is always disturbed and not able to sleep peacefully. I thought it's a gas problem hence gave him neopeptine drops too but that is not helping.he gets hungry often and is taking around 60-80ml per feed, like every 2.5 or 3 hours. He burps almost after every feed. M very much worried. Please help.

At 1 month to 1 1/2 months babies do get colicky pain commonly called as evening colic. It’s a normal phenomenon and almost all babies do get that. Typically baby will be sleeping quite in morning hours and as evening approaches they become cranky and worst at night. A little rocking or walking with baby in lap will help. If Babu is too cranky and not sleeping at all you can you Colicaid 5 drops. This will give temporary relief. It’s not a permanent solution so don’t use on regular basis.
