If mother is suffering from chicken pox that means your 5 month old baby is not having immunity against chicken pox. Your baby is at risk for chicken pox. You can give VZ immunoglobulins to protect him/her from getting infection within 96 hours. For details about immunoglobulin need contact your pediatrician.
