Mild pah concerning?

Hello, A year back in March 2024 I did treadmill test and 2d echo cardiogram both were normal. 6 days back I did both the test but 2d echo was normal with mild pah value 40. I m healthy do exercise daily and underweight from a long time. Want to ask what could be the reason behind this mild pah out of no where as I don't smoke don't drink at all. I m getting married this year and am bit scared I have anxiety issues and acid reflux as well because of that I have mild difficulty in breathing. Not sure it is because of that or something else. Please if anyone can let me know that what could be the reason of mild pah and can it go down again and what reason can be there for increase in that mild pah what factors can be and what I should avoid doing and how I should take care of myself without medicines as currently no major issues are there.

Which key parameters I should monitor at

Which key parameters I should monitor at home My PFT values have been decreasing, and I’m planning to buy a home spirometer. There are many devices available—some measure only one parameter, while others measure multiple. Could you please advise which key parameters I should monitor at home, and which device would be best for accurate and useful results?

Can I take my own Montek LC?

Hello doctors, I have ABPA (Allergic Bronchopulmonary Aspergillosis). My pulmonary doctor never started any specific treatment for ABPA yet. Recently, I had a  chest infection, so the doctor gave me Foracort 200 (formoterol 6 + budesonide 200). But after using it, my breathing got worse, so I stopped using it. I have my next appointment next Friday (after 7 days). Until then, I have stopped all medicines. My question is: Can I take my own Montek LC (montelukast + levocetirizine) once daily for the next 7 days until I meet the doctor? Please advise if this is safe or helpful. Thank you!

Do I really have asthma

Why my asthma shows irreversible? Do I actually have asthma or not? Hello everyone, I was diagnosed with asthma, but my Pulmonary Function Test (PFT) shows irreversible airway obstruction. I thought asthma is usually reversible after bronchodilator (like salbutamol) use. Now I’m confused — if it’s not reversible, do I really have asthma? Or is it something else like COPD or bronchiectasis? I’m in my early 30s, and I never smoked. Can asthma ever become irreversible? What else could cause this?
