My patient id is P2097. You have prescribed diamicron xr 60 and zetametplus 20/1000 at hb1c 6.5 on 9aug for 90 days. Now hb1c dropped to the 5.8(Lal) on 11 SEP and 5.9(SRL) on 02 Oct. There is any change in medicine if any please advise.

Your diabetes is well controlled and it will beneficial in long term. Consult your doctor for further change in medication. Although your sugar is controlled by medication. But if you are feeling symptoms of hypoglycaemia than the change of medication is important. Otherwise there is no issue.

HbA1c is good criteria to know blood sugar control level of last 3 month. If it is less than 7, then you are at good control. You can consult your doctor who has prescribed you medicines.
