Chance of Down syndrome in pregnancy

Hello I am a 34 yo woman and my partner is a 35 yo man. WE plan to have a baby in the coming year. My partner has a 33 yo syster with Down syndrome. My concern is what the chances are for us to get a baby with Down syndrome? Is there any evaluation available for our case to evaluate the risk before pregnancy?
