Cervix stitch
I am 20weeks pregnant , my cervical lenth is 3.2cm, I had very slight bleeding , i was advised to take encirclage. Please advice me is it okay because I am confused.

Hi. A cervical length of more than 2.5cm at 20 weeks is sufficient a d doesnt qualify for cervical incompetency. I dont think you need cervical stich. Feel free to follow up and discusz further about bleeding. Bleeding in pregnancy is not a good sign at all.

pls share details of the scan 1. Placenta localization? 2. Internal Os, External Os, Cervical canal open or closed? For Encirclage,  Cervical length is less than 2.5c is considered.  But if ur Os or canal is open on scan then irrespective of Cervical length,  Encirclage is advised. Pls take complete bed rest till the decision u make.
