Hi, Ivf pregnancy with dcda twins. I had NT scan during 12 th week of pregnancy. Prior to the scan date I had slightly bleeding but it stopped in couple of hours. Next day NT scan was performed and it is mentioned as posterior placenta for both the fetus and lower edge reaching internal os. Internal Os is closed. Doctor advised for bed rest till anamoly scan. It is scheduled for 29th May. I am on complete bed rest. Is there anything that I need to worry now? Should I have another scan to see if everything is OK?

If you have not had another episode of bleeding then you need not worry. As the uterus grows the placenta usually moves up. If in case you have bleeding at any point you could get and Ultrasound done to locate the placenta

Do NOT worry. Everything is OK. In most cases, the placenta move upwards as pregnancy advances. Avoid intercourse as it may increase bleeding.

Don’t worry. Just take adequate bed rest. So that you dnt end up in any bleeding from placenta. Just take adequate rest and lots of fluid. Do your scheduled scan on 29tb.
