You should  take 2nd and 3rd opinion  from neurosurgeon/neurologist in any of the corporate  hospitals. The ACDF surgery with disc replacement should  be done when nerve is being compressed and canal diameter also compromised.
Next Steps
All Mri Films are to be showed to your neurosurgeon as well as neurologist. The later may opt conservative usually in early as well as moderate compression. But if neulogist also advise sx then you should  undergo sx.
Health Tips
Surgery decion should be done early by patient to improve  his quality  of life. As this is a rewarding and safe surgery and hardly  takes one hour.
