Cefdinir oral suspension for toddler?

Asked for Female, 8 Years

My nephew is 8 months old and he is having teething ache right now. Due to this he is having fever also sometimes. Doctor has prescribed cefdinir oral suspension and calpol suspension. Yesterday after taking these medicines, he was feeling restless and cried all night. Are these 2 safe to take?
