Cavities in 1.5 years old baby
Hi Doctor. My baby is 1.5 years old. She have two cavities one is black dot and other is red dot. Can you guide me what to do. If at all we take her to kids dentist will she be cooperative with the procedures with doctor? Am very much concerned. We don't even give her chocolates and sweets but what's the reason for cavity in this early age. Kindly respond on my concerns doctor.

Hi Not to worry about this, it can be restored back, you can visit your nearby pediatric dentist will be able to guide you. At 1.5years age child won't co-operate fo treatment will need to go for preventive care rather then filling the cavity, early age cavity reason is bottle feeding you can search literature on Early childhood caries (ECC). Hello Please visit the pedodontist for filling the cavities There might be many reasons for cavities in this age, especially feeding her and putting her to sleep . Try to avoid this.
