Cause of Chest pain?
My husband with family history of heart attack but who is otherwise in general physical and cardio health so far suddenly experienced left side chest pain yesterday which got better after long time post massage with hot oil and warm water compress. However on advice of family physician we got got ECG done which is normal. Also his Troponin test and lipid profile result is awaited. He did  not had any other symptoms and is well now.His 2D echo was done 3-4 months back which was normal. He regularly exercises and eat very healthy food with fruits and wholegrains. Is there any other test which has to be conducted to rule out the cause?

With family history of heart attacks Left side chest pain for long time Don't take it lightly We are lucky that his ecg is normal. If Troponin test is positive he needs to under go Angiography test as soon as possible It is strongly advisable to do a 2D echo again and Do a stress test (TMT test) if Troponin is negative Better to be safe Any time there is a person suffering form chest pain please do a ECG immediately Don't wait at home Heart attacks are life threatening
