Carotid tumor in neck
My aunt is diagnosed with Carotid tumor in the neck measuring 2cm * 2 cm. MRI scan says that it is growing on top of the Main nerve that is running from Heart to Brain. We were advised to go for a Vascular surgery. Is there an alternative approach/treatment without surgery. Since the Surgery involves 5% risk of paralysis etc. She is 49 years old. Any help or pointers would help.
