I am going to be starting a combination oral contraceptive soon and I am wondering if cannabis would have do anything to the effectiveness of the birth control? I know that smoking cigarettes is not recommended but would cannabis pose the same risk or is it the nicotine in the cigarettes that puts you at risk? Would thc extract (shatter) be a safer bet than the actual cannabis flower?
