Hi I had surgery for tongue and tongue and they have reMove lot of lymph nodes now. Consulting doctor said go far radiation and chemotherapy for 5 session, but I had second opinion they said to go only for chemotherapy.what should I do now iam in dilemma.

Then will decide on need for rt or chemo
Usually rt s given.. Chemo is given for margin positive resection or extra nodal spread..

Most probably you need concurrent chemoradiotherapy if your biopsy report showed involvement of lymph nodes and high risk features in biopsy report( perineural invasion, lymphovascular invasion and lymph node involvement). Attach with all reports for better opinion
