Can we take 60000iU calciferol .

Hi i have been prescribed to 60k iU of d3 by local doctor 1 per week for 12 weeks .I am suffering from lower back pain, abdomens pains frequently.i am s/w engineer by profession .prev had RIH repair one year back.i dnt gone for any test .Is it safe to take big dose at time .i took one time suffered with constipation for 2 days .any suggestion?
