My mom was being treated for pulmonary edema, CHF & tachycardia. Recently a cardiologist told us that it is COPD & not heart disease. Later it was confirmed by pulmonologist that it is COAD with heart problem. But both of them could not control & advise anything for tachycardia. So, if it is a lungs disease only then can pulmonologist alone can prescribe medicines for both COAD & tachycardia or we will have to continue treatment under two doctors? One Cardiologist & one pulmonologist?

Actually your patient is probably having cor pulmonale, a condition caused by chronic lung disease like copd, a Pulmonologist is the best doctor for such a patient.
