My wife is 3 months pregnant. She was at her home for exams but now she has to come back to my place. I'm stationed in Leh and wanted to know if it's safe for her to stay here. She's otherwise healthy and just has some nausea due to pregnancy.

I have been to Leh. Went by Air. Went in November .
On the day one you feel tired and may have to take complete rest. You don't realise that you have reached 11,000 feet.
It may take a week to acclimatize.
It is better to avoid it because hypoxia may not be very pleasant for your baby.
