Can I possibly have pseudomyopia

Asked for Male, 14 Years

14 and I often like being on phones and computers, my eyesight is -0.75 or left and -0.5 for right eye, I was just wondering if it could possibly be a chance of pseudomyopia and not myopia, my doctor didn’t really explain it to me properly and just gave me a paper with my eyesight

Yes it is possible, but it would be difficult to say without examining you. Get your number tested once more under the effect of cycloplegic drops. This will be a definitive test to rule out pseuodmyopia.
