Hi,
Doctor has prescribed calpol 250 for my 1.5 year baby after vaccination. But on the bottle it's written that it's recommended for 5-10 years kids. Is it ok to give calpol 250mg for my baby. Please suggest.

Dose of any paracetamol is 15mg per kg. What is weight of your baby. May be 10 to 12kg. So estimated dose is 10×15 =150mg per dose. 1tsf contains 5ml so 1 tsfwith strenght of 125mg per 5ml twice a day is enough. Must be sure of strength of 125mg , not 250mg per 5ml.
You are right to suspect it.
