CALCIFIED GRANULOMA IN RIGHT PARIETAL LO
Diagnosed with Neurocysticercosis 12 years ago, took medicines for 4 years.. but after 2 years, faces a severe headache ... then neurologists had given me antidepressants from 2016-2021... and still had headache almost daily... Now when i had my MRI done, it shows Calcified granuloma in right parietal lobe and mild diffuse cerebral atrophy... Please Doctor let me know what does it mean ? and how long do I have to take medicines...

Hi..it seems Calcified granuloma is due to old neurocysticercosis which became calcified. But diffuse cerebral atrophy is not explained at this age.. So require investigation for the atrophy... Headache also need evaluation in detail...
