It depends upon the general fitness of patient for surgery, type of histology whether squamous or adeno. In squamous cancers surgery, chemo radiotherapy or preop CTRT f/b surgery are options. In adeno carcinoma in addition to above mentioned options, preoperative chemotherapy f/b surgery n complete chemotherapy is also one option. For any histology if surgery is done first which should be preferable for small lesions, post surgery treatment depends upon pathological findings of tumor, whether RT/CT is required or not.
