My wife is a asthma patient for the last 35 years.Now she has been using forecourt 200 inhaler.she used it once in two or three days..
We have planned tongi to kedarnadh and badarinadh yatra in June.
Is it suggestible or not ...
If ,yes what are the precautions to be taken.

Hi. I understand your concern s. Need based inhaler use is not recommended and does not help. It is better she undergoes a detailed examination and investigation like pulmonary function test which is needed for the diagnosis as well as to assess severity of asthma currently. Before leaving . Consult a pulmonologist for the same at the earliest. Alison she will need to be vaccinated.

She has to start inhaling Foracort 200 mcg twice daily from now onwards till return.
If required she might carry Salbair I and take it sos if there's shortness of breath at altitude
