Breathing problem
For 1 week I am having a little bit of suffocation problem and for that I can't be able to sleep. I am feeling a pressure, heavy on my chest and sometimes on the left side of my chest and also sometimes I feels like my heart is pumping a bit fast. Besides that I am a smoker, and I didn't feel a difference after smoking it's all same. 2days back I consulted a doctor and he said that I am having anxiety for that I can't sleep and all. So can you please help with a suggestion. Thank you.

Don’t take lightly, even if it is anxiety. Quit smoking. Get chest X-ray, ECG, PFT and see a pulmonary physician.
