Ideally you must try and find what is causing the flare up of your allergies and try to avoid the allergen. You may require antihistamines to control the allergies. The following lifestyle changes may help:
- Keep the area at home and at work clean as possible and try to remove the dust particles with the help of a vaccum cleaner.
- Minimize the mold in the house which maybe present in your AC, damp areas of the kitchen and bathroom.
- You could use a HEPA filter to control the microspores and dust particles in the house.
- Avoid exposure to irritants such as perfume or cleaning products
- Reduce outdoor allergen exposure at home.
If the problem persists or worsens visit the ER at the earliest.
