Hello My baby is 8months old as im breastfeeding him till now without any complementary food except water since the flow is high so i  stop giving him i do get pain so im giving him is that normal to feed baby until the flow reduce without any solids

Hi The answer is NO... You have to start complimentary feeding from 6 months onwards. Milk is not the only essential nutrients. There are lot of other nutrients which have to be introduced one by one from 6 months onwards. Important rules 1.liquid to semi-solid consistency 2.Start new items only in the morning 3.Gradually increase the feed day by day and make it a bowl by 3 days.

Please start ragi  mixed with jaggery and your milk. rice and dhal with ghee. Apple , banana. vegetables. continue breastfeeding
